The Society supported expenses for binding seven copies of the 300 page Doctoral thesis by Dr. Dorothy Cooke-Johnson, on Cancer Incidence over a five year period and Mortality over a nine year period for the following sites: Breast, Cervix, Prostate, Stomach and Lung. This book is well used by students and overseas researchers seeking information on Cancer in Barbados. Copies are at three UWI Campus Libraries, the Ministry of Health, PAHO and at the Society's small library.
